Welcome and thank you for visiting the Division of Enrollment Services. The division’s departments include Academic Preparation Programs, Undergraduate Admissions, Campus Tours, Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, Career Center, Student Affairs Marketing and Communications, and the Highlander One-Stop Shop.
The Division of Enrollment Services engages with and impacts the lives of tens of thousands of UCR and pre-college students each year.
Academic Preparation Programs
Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) helps over 5,500 educationally and/or economically disadvantaged high school students become eligible for post-secondary education upon high school graduation and prepare for college transition and success.
TRIO Pre-College Programs (Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound Classic, Upward Bound Oasis, and Upward Bound Rialto/Colton Joint) provides opportunities for around 800 high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in their pre-college performance and higher education pursuits.
TRIO Scholars, also known as Student Support Services, is dedicated to improving retention and graduation rates of first-generation and income-qualified students as well as students with disabilities. Each year, about 140 UCR students receive academic, social, personal, and career advising.
University Eastside Community Collaborative (UECC)/AmeriCorps recruits over 80 college students to become AmeriCorps members who mentor and tutor over 850 youth throughout Riverside’s Eastside neighborhood to increase academic achievement and become engaged in community service.
Enrollment Management Offices
Undergraduate Admissions attracted 62,322 applicants, admitted 34,248 students, and enrolled 6,788 students to comprise the highly diverse and academically accomplished incoming freshman and transfer class for the 2018-19 academic year.
Campus Tours provides prospective students and their parents or guardians a unique and personal view of life at UCR through one of 10 student-led tours, including campus and engineering lab tours, “A Day in The Life,” Residential Housing, Student Recreation Center, and more.
Financial Aid provides financial aid access by furnishing information about grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans. About 90% of undergraduate students receive financial aid totaling over $417M; 70% of those students have fees covered by grants and scholarships.
Registrar’s Office manages the following processes: registration, student academic record management, grade management, course approval, classroom scheduling and utilization, degree audit maintenance, and degree conferral.
Enrollment Services Office provides tools, resources as well as financial and personnel guidance to the entire Enrollment Services organization.
